Wesley Snipes Reports to Prison

From Passenger 57 to Inmate Number 43355-018...
Despite numerous attempts to overturn his conviction, including a last-minute plea on Larry King Live this week, Wesley Snipes is officially a ward of the state. He checked into McKean Federal Correctional Institution in Lewis Run, Pennsylvania today.

Federal Bureau of Prison spokesman Edmond Ross said the processing of the actor - who has been sentenced to three years for failure to file taxes - went off "without incident."

As for the institution itself?

Larry Levine, a former 10-year federal inmate and founder of Wall Street Prison Consultants, said Snipes is residing in a place known as "Club Fed."

"McKean the Dream, that's what we call it," he told ABC News. "It's a nice place, but it's definitely not like checking into a hotel."

Rachel Uchitel Speaks on Celebrity Rehab Stint, Battle With "Love Addiction"

In a rare TV interview, Tiger Woods' famed mistress Rachel Uchitel spoke on the Today Show about her addiction to love and how that led her astray.
Appearing alongside her Celebrity Rehab mentor, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Rache promoted her stint on the VH1 program and explained why she went on it.
"I knew that I needed help," Uchitel, who claims she went on the program to deal with her love addiction. "And I wanted to get it from Dr. Drew."

Uchitel she needs help ... and had some lip injections.

The 35-year-old all-pro mistress also said she was being treated for addiction to Ambien and other prescribtion medications, which she did not identify.
Dr. Dew said Rachel Uchitel's condition is partly triggered by traumatic events in her past, such as the premature deaths of her father and fiance Andy.
She was set to get married before he perished in the 9/11 attacks.
"People think it is a moral issue if somebody falls in love, all over the place," Uchitel said. "It is not, it is a disease and disorder; you feel like you have a hole in your heart and are waiting for a knight in shining armor to come and save you."
In her case, that knight must be married and famous.
"But it is not an excuse for anyone's behavior. You get stuck in relationships that are not right; you put a mask over somebody and pretend they’re somebody they’re not. You get disappointed when they don’t react the way you want."
Pretty much what happened with David Boreanaz.
Fortunately, "I'm a completely different person now than I was before I went on the show," Uchitel said of the "most intense" Celebrity Rehab season yet.

“To celebrate what the white settlers did to the native Indians, the domination of one culture over another, just isn’t her style at all."
Apparently she put her money where her mouth is, at least.
